WVLO is a non-equity community theater company performing at the Saratoga Civic Theater in Saratoga, CA. All cast positions are volunteer and are not paid. BIPOC, indigenous, neurodiverse, and physically diverse artists are encouraged to audition. We welcome and encourage actors of every race, ethnicity, gender, identity, age, body type, and orientation to audition with WVLO. You MUST be at least 18 years of age to audition, with the exception of the part of Theo.

Invitation callbacks will be held at the Saratoga Civic Theater on Sunday, November 10, from 6:30pm to 10pm, and Sunday, November 17, from 9am to noon. If you are invited to the in-person callback, you will be notified of specific dates and times in a callback email.
Please indicate any availability conflicts for the callbacks in the form below. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your assigned in-person audition time to check in. You will also receive an email with any callback materials required.

Other than the specifics for the Leading Player, we are blessed to have a script where casting can be open to actors of color, gender expression and identity, disability, and neurodiversity.
LEADING PLAYERThe ultimate “ring leader.” Masterfully charming and manipulative, the Leading Player is a chameleon of sorts. Guides Pippin through their own story and tries to intervene at the end. Excellent dancer. Obsessed with putting on a great show for the audience. ENSEMBLEThe players comprise the ever wandering cursed troupe of actors who find people like Pippin to tempt, entertain, and cajole in order for that person to choose the grandest finale of all time - to choose greatness. CONFLICTS:Rehearsals for PIPPIN will begin January 5, 2025. We will have several Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoons, with evenings Monday through Thursday evenings. All cast members are called for Load In on Saturday, February 22, 2025, and Strike on Sunday, April 6, 2025. TECH WEEK is March 9, 2025, through March 14, 2025 (preview). Performances are Friday evenings (03/21, 03/28, 04/04); Saturday evenings (03/15, 03/22, 04/05); Saturday matinee (03/29); and Sunday matinees (03/16, 03/23, 03/30).
